Unstable Image (2026)

Unstable Image explores what happens when that which contains the body also begins to deform it.

A figure appears compressed between large planes displaced by hands that remain outside its field of vision. The body responds to a pressure whose source it cannot see, deforming, fragmenting and adapting to the available space until it becomes difficult to separate the figure from the structure that contains it.

The work thus establishes an ambiguous relationship between body, structure and human action: that which organises and supports a form can also transmit forces capable of transforming it, even when their source remains hidden.
