Open Fracture II (2026)

Open Fracture II approaches multiplicity through an opposing condition: separation.

In contrast to the accumulation of the first work, here the body unfolds horizontally and its parts appear distanced from one another. Large areas of empty space interrupt the figure, while anatomical fragments remain connected without ever reconstructing a continuous presence.

Within the diptych, the work shifts the fracture from superimposition towards dispersal. The body remains recognisable, but no longer functions as a closed form capable of gathering experience into a single image.
