Right Regular (2024)

Right Regular embodies control within movement —the pursuit of balance between the natural force of the environment and the human desire to structure it.

Inspired by a right-breaking wave, the composition unfolds through a line of energy that traverses the canvas, shaping a field of tension between geometry and fluidity.

At its center, a female figure emerges from the pictorial matter: fragmented yet whole. Here, Plaza redefines the relationship between body and landscape through a cubist language that does not fragment to destroy, but to reveal the coexistence of the symbolic and the real.

The gesture is contained, the structure prevails, and yet within that restraint pulses the vital force that runs through all his work —freedom resisting within form.
